AWSOME!!!

That was a fantastic piece of work. Great job.

The artwork was great. Everything looked great. The animation however, was the part that shined. I loved how great the fbf was. Every motion was smooth and connected and was just great to look at. The tweening used was great too. It was used appropriatly and worked with the fbf instead of replacing it. The effects used for the fire and such were beautiful too.

My only complaint was with the audio. Im not sure if it was the mic you were using or if the effects you added to the voices hurt the quality, but it really took away from everything else that was so great about your movie. But that is my only complaint. Everything else was top notch.

Keep up the great work. Just fix your audio problems and then you'll have some really kick ass stuff. Awsome job!!!

Yep, knew the audio was a problem. Tons of folks have said so. Not going to fix it but I understand your complaint. Thanks for the crit dirtshake man!

Just a list

This is only a list of laws, something that would be better posted on your userpage or on the BBS.

What you should do is pick some of the more crazy laws and make a full out movie of them. Maybe start a collab where each person picks a stupid law and animates a 30 second short of it. Something other than a simple list would be a lot better than this...which is a slideshow and not a movie.

2 just because some were funny.

Good work

Great star wars flash. You definitely got a lot right with this flash, but there is still a lot you need to work on.

The art of the characters was not special, but it still wasn't horrible. The drawings were smooth and somewhat colorful. They suited well for the insane amount of frame by frame you used in this movie, and for that I give you major props. I know how hard it is to make a great fight scene all in fbf style, so I commend you on your work. Things could be a bit smoother, but with what you have now it is fine to look at.

Major credit to your sound effects as well. Duel of Fates is always a great choice for a lightsaber battle, and the lightsaber effects made it feel like the real deal. Excellent work.

I know you didn't want to do backgrounds in this movie, but don't let lazyness or self doubt stop you. I suck at backgrounds as well, but I still put them in. The more you practice backgrounds the better you will get with them. Don't worry if they're not the most beautiful or complicated backgrounds you've ever seen, just put something other than a gray background in.

Overall great movie. Good job and good luck on future projects.

Meh...

Your drawings are great, but your animation needs a lot of work.

For one there was barely anthing moving. A few tweens in the beginning and the end but for most of the movie the characters didn't move at all. It made it boring to watch from a visual standpoint.

Your audio needs work too. The music was way louder thant he dialougue so I couldn't even tell if the voice acting was great or simply good. I think it was good, but the loud music took away from your character's conversations.

Overall these are some simple things to fix. I know this movie wasn't supposed to be visually fantastic, but there is no excuse for the audio quality. Work on these aspects and your next projects will be great. You'll actually be able to show off your drawings more when they start moving.

Good luck in the future.

Thanks for the review, I know they didn't really move, that's pretty much because of the time limit I had in class for the animation. But I recently turned the music down on the animation for make the voices easier to hear.

Nice Work!!!

My first thought with this movie was, "Oh great, another generic free for all battle where everyone DIES!!!". And I was almost right. Luckily for you some things were different, and in a good way.

I was glad to see you attempted to draw your own characters, and many different types. All of them still had that stick man feel to them, and many were simply stick men, but they looked nice because of the different varieties of them. Some were robots, ogres, or gorrillas with lazers. It was a nice variation and made it fun to watch.

I also liked the capture the flag thing. It made the movie have a goal instead of a pointless free for all kill all thing like these types of movies normally have.

The animation was top notch. I can tell you put a lot of work into the fbf. Everything was smooth and kept it's shape throughout every movement. Sure the characters may have been only sticks, but it was still great to look at.

Though your beautiful animation was hard to see sometimes. Your characters blended in right with the background, which made the chaos of the fight scene more chaotic and confusing. Work on distinguishing your background style from your character style. It could be as simple as making the BG have blander colors, or put some blurring effects to make it look far away.

Overall this was a nice variation of a classic theme. Keep up the good work.

I liked the colors

Pretty good movie overall. No points for originality, but you got the job done.

I liked the artwork you put in it. The colors, shading, and lighting looked great on everything, especially the backgrounds. Easy and pretty to look at. Great job on that.

The animation wasn't bad either, but you could definitely improve. The little frame by frame in your movie showed ou can do it, and do it very well. The motions of the burninator Trogdor were very smooth as he flew throught he air. Why didn't you do that for the whole movie? Don't get me wrong, the tweens you did weren't bad at all, but if you have the skill why not use it.

Nice movie. Good luck in the future.

Damn..nice ending

Great short story you told. The ending was great. Good choice.

I liked the style. Very bland but at the same time made the characters stand out more than the background. It also made your drawings and not coloring stand out more. However this had some problems with it.

Most of your drawings were great, but some looked a little weird, specifically the sniper rifle the guy was holding and the girl when she was aiming the gun at him and flashing her badge. Work a bit more on poses and you'll be fine.

The animation could have been a bit smoother at parts too, but major props for using a lot of frame by frame in your movie. It looked great even with a little choppyness.

Great job telling the story. It was very mysterious, though I saw it coming that the girl was a cop when I saw the gun. The ending was great. Very sad and told great.

Keep up the great work. How'd you do on the project?

Very nice

Great idea for a movie, though not entirely original. I've heard the concept before, but the execution was brilliant.

The art was great. Very colorful without a lot of outlines. It was very easy on the eyes and stylish as well. The animation wasn't too shabby either.
The attacks is what made this movie for me. The different, and very nerdy, attack moves were just fun to watch because they were so corny. Creative attacks too. I laughed hard when bio dude sent out his HIV virus attack.

Other than that the only thing you could work on is your humor. Even though it was a very small part of this movie the humor that you tried to do came off a little dry. Im speaking specifically of the desert joke. But it's so small for this movie it's not even that big of a deal. Just had to mention it.

So overall a very nice movie. Keep up the good work.

Blakant responds:

Yeah, ur right... I was under pressure wen Im writting the script if Im not mistaken... It's the Exam Week that time, lol
Well, ur review r rlly helpful, I try to improve my humor without hurting other ppl's feeling & being clean, cuz that is my aim for all my project, be clean as possible... :)

Great artwork, more animation

This movie was pretty good despite the bad English. I enjoyed it very much. You definitely have what it takes to make great movies.

Your artwork was great, it really was. The style, coloring, and shading looked great. Every shot was detailed a bit and it was overall very pretty to look at.

However this took away from the animation quality. All you did was tween stuff. Though it didn't look bad because of the great artwork, some simple frame by frame animation could have made this movie even better to watch. Practice that and you'll be on your way to making some really good stuff.

Overall this was a great movie. Keep up the great work.

brysew responds:

Well, at next time I shall try not too often to use Tweens ;-) ! How I did it in my "Morine vs Monstre" movie.

Very touching

I'll pass this simply because the art was great and the movie was very touching. Very sorry for your loss.

You have the tone of the movie down really well. The art and music go together nicely and the emotions are there.

Though you need a lot more animation just to keep it interesting. I would say if you want this to truly shine give it a little more animation. It's not that hard, and would make conveying your emotions that much better.

Overall, very touching movie.
