I just finished animating my MGS collab piece, at 1:20 AM. Blah. But Im glad it's done. What's more rewarding is the fact that I was able to make this movie in only about two weeks. Though overall I only spent about 8 hours on it. This certainly isn't the best animation I've ever made. I was forced to sacrafice a bit of fbf to make the deadline, but overall it turned out pretty close to my original idea.
Im hoping this gets into the collab. But if not...oh well. I'll just try harder next time.

Now Im just going to send it off to some friends for some final checks and tips, and then I'll submit it tomorrow sometime. And then I just wait until the collab comes out.

Eight days left until the animation is due, and six days left to make it according to my own goals. Im WAY behind than what I wanted to be..but I have a lot of time this week and Saturday. I should be able to crank this out as long as I do something everyday.
I see a lot of late nights ahead...but I don't care.

As of right now, including what I just did a few hours ago, I've worked 4 hours and 10 minutes on this movie.

To treat you all, here's a pic from what I've done so far.

6 Days

I wasn't originally planning on making something for the Metal Gear Collab, but after reading Stamper's news post about how many lazy half-ass submissions they are recieving I got a change of heart.
I know Im not the best animator on Newgrounds. In fact Im not even close. But I do know I put a lot of effort into whatever I make, even if my skills aren't up to the task yet.

So with 12 days before the deadline Im going to try to make a Metal Gear Collab submission. I have the script ready, the dialouge recorded, and the ideas in my head. Im giving myself 10 days to make this thing. If it works, then I know I can make an animation quickly. If it doesn't, oh well. I'll just put the movie as an extra clip in one of my submissions or something.

Ten days. One animation. Wish me luck.

If you havn't noticed already this is my new account. Yungjazz thought it would be a good idea to have a more recognizable name instead of extremegamer2491 and once LFD made it in the portal i finally agreed with him.

Two months and one day ago I started making Little Frog Duel II. On April 23 I decided to start keeping a log of the hours Im putting in on this project just to see how hard Im working on it. From the log I only have 3 hours put in, but Im estimating I've put in about five before I started keeping track. That is about eight hours of work put into this movie. As of right now the intro animation is not done yet, but it's getting close. I only have one more part to animate, but Im waiting on an audio file from one of my voice actors *coughyungjazzcough* before I can animate the scene. I also need to find a few sound effects but that shouldn't be a problem.

I doubt I'll get much, if any, work in this week though. This week will be filled, and I mean FILLED with studying for my AP US History test on Friday, May 9. I need to put in at least six more hours of hardcore studying before the test, and I need to work on an English project and make a few banner adds for my web design class. All nighters here we come. HOORAY!!! Lucky for me prom on saturday will be a fine reward.

After the AP test things should calm down school wise and I'll be able to put in more hours on LFDII. Of course Im not setting a release date, because if I do I know I'll break it, but I want to try to have this movie done by summer's end. The latest I'd accept for myself is a few weeks into the school year, but more than that and I'd just feel like a lazy bum.

Before any of you ask I won't be resubmitting Little Frog Duel under my new account, at least not yet. Im toying with the idea of submitting both LFD and LFDII into one movie.

After LFDII I probably won't make another LFD movie. I want to move on to some other projects I've had in mind for months now.

I'll wrap up this post with a pic now.

8 hours total worked on the movie.

Quickly Newgrounds. Go on the BBS and read this, we're in danger!!!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Serphyas.

Well sort of. If we're lucky the House will support the bill I mentioned in my post. And if we're unlucky there, if the next president is a Democrat then he or she will fight for it. Both Barack and Hillary support Net Neutrality.
And sorry for the double post...internet being weird tonight.... -__-

In other news, Little Frog Duel 2 is coming along slower than I want, but nicely. I have to get some audio from my friend and then I can animate the next scene and I still have to find music for another. Im down to a few choices, but there still might be something better in the Audio Portal. That's all Im using for this movie, music from the portal, and I hope to keep this tradition with all my movies I make.

I also have ideas for a new series, or movie, or whatever. Right now it's a very weak and broad idea, but I don't want to focus too much on it until LFD2 is done. I'll probably just write some things down and sketch a few pics, but nothing big. Otherwise I'll really procrastinate on LFD2.
