Not bad, but fix some things

You have a great start for someone who's new to flash.

Your animation was pretty good. Surprisingly you were better at frame by frame than tweening so I would say keep up the fbf. Your fbf was pretty smooth and looked convincing. YOur tweens however, especially when the main character was conducting, were not too good. Work more on drawing the parts of the arm in a way to look convincing instead of just using ovals or something. I would say keep up the fbf.

Another thing that stood out was how the background image or colors or whatever would not cover the whole stage in flash. There was some white areas off to the sides which took away from the flash as a whole. It is easy to fix this, only a matter of making sure the background image covers the whole stage. If your going to move the background during the animation it's best to make a large image that covers way more than the stage. PM me if you need some help with this.

Overall it was a good movie though. Keep up the practice and you'll make some quality flashes here.

OMG , its true...but its weird, i already preview this flash before submitting it to newgrounds in flash 8, and no empty line were seen!!

but when i preview it here it has one!!!

hmm, but for now....thank you for your comment advice sir, ill go recheck it again!!

LOVED IT!!!!!! SIMPLE AWSOME!!!

This movie was awsome for numerous reasons.

The style was great and helped to show your message ( I guess history's message) brilliantly. The black and white with red all over worked great. Your drawings fit the style beautifully too. I love the sketchy look of animations, especially when done as well as you have done them.

Your style showed beautifully when you animated frame by frame. If I have one gripe about the animation it was not enough fbf. You obviously know how to do it and do it well. Add more of it in. Your animation was most beautiful when you did it by fbf instead by tweening, but even your tweens were great.

Of course the message of the movie is what I loved most about it. Im a history buff, and McCarthyism was something I loved studying. It is impressive how you were able to teach about McCarthyism, or at least show it's affects on innocent people, in such a stylish way that caught everyone's attention. Any history class should show this movie to it's students to see if they can catch all the symbolism and the message. Impressive job here.
I also loved the hammer and sickel weapon. Creative way of showing a communist symbol. Brilliant too.

The only thing I would ask you to fix is the annoyingly loud tone at the beginning and end. It was a bit too loud and long for my taste. But this can be quickly ignored once you get past it.

Great movie. Keep up the great work.

Love the new style

Love the new sytle bro, realling do. Can't wait to see what you can do with it.

Chainsaw v. Gun

There's your title right there.

As far as the movie goes, it wasn't bad. Random, but not bad. The animation of the gun and chainsaw was great. The different animations for all of the gun's functions were great as well. For this reason I passed it, even though it's simpley a practice animation.

The characters at the end is what killed it for me. They were sub-par in artwork compared to the rest of the movie. Practice up your art for organic creatures before you put them in your next movie.

Ha..I passed it...but please improve it

I passed it simply because I got a laugh out of it. You can improve a lot on it though.

The artwork mainly. It is pretty boring watching a head move, even if the dialouge is funny. Your art didn't seem too bad, so just work on drawing and animating full bodies.
The humore wasn't too bad either, but maybe flesh it out a bit. You could write a simply story based on this idea. Something like Steve walks around trying to find clues, jumping into numerous gay-ass things until he finds the porno magazine. If you flesh it out with some more jokes, than this would be awsome.

So I passed this simply because of the laugh I got out of it. If you could improve on those areas you'd have a kick ass movie.

KICK ASS

Nice animation!!! You know what your doing when it comes to animating fight scenes.
Here's what I loved abot it.

- Frame by frame galore!!! You made it smooth and just beautiful to look at. I know how hard it is to make anything frame by frame, and you did it great. Keep it up.

- Special effects and whatnot. Whatever effect you tried adding in, whether it be smoke, battle damage, blood, power blast effects, or even the ground cracking when one of the guys ran fast, you did it great. It was smooth and it didn't slow down my comp at all. Great job.

- Camera movements. Though a little shaky at times, it was used good. It captured the feel of the battle, the carnage I guess you could say, great.

- Music. Worked well. I liked it. Sound overall was great. A little loud, but who cares, you got the point across. This is one hell of a battle.

Things you could improve on. Yes, there are a few.

- Your own characters. I have nothing against stick animations, especially when someone can animate them well as you have done, but I would love it if you would implement your great animation skills to characters of your own design and artwork. It's way harder animating full characters than sticks, but I think you have the work ethic to do it.

- Backgrounds. Right now they are a little plain, but I can see why since you put so much work into the actual animation of the characters. And what you did do with the backgrounds wasn't bad. Just detail them more so there is something pretty to destroy when your characters fight again.

To sum it up, my problems lie with the artwork. But your animation quality more than made up for it. Keep up the great work!!!!

Kick Ass

Very nice animation!!! I can tell a lot of work was put into this just by how smooth the frame by frame was. Great use of tweens too. And great job and combining the two into something that works well.

I loved the artwork. You did a great job of expressing the emotions of the wolves. And the color scheme of the whole movie was great. It made the night seem peaceful and sweet if that makes any sense.

The music fit the movie great as well. Overall, great job. Keep animating please.

Not bad at all for a first fbf

This was actually pretty good for your first time animating in frame by frame. It was very smooth, which is what your aiming for with fbf. The tweens you had in there were great too and didn't move awkward or anything.

The only thing you could have fixed was when they were "talking" to each other. You didn't have to flash the messeges so much. Im sure most people could read them the first time.

Otherwise, great movie. Keep practicing and submitting your stuff.

I have no idea what was going on...

But that is no reason to blam a movie. The art was good. But practice animation...there was barely any movement.

And please put in subtitles. I won't blam it because of the language barrier...but I will score it low.

Otherwise good job.

Awsome

Great work, especially for only three days of animation.

I loved the use of color. It created a great style. The animation was beautiful as well. You knew when to use tweens and when to use frame by frame, and both looked great.

The only complaint I have, and Im sure it's this way because it was a rushed animation, is that the water didn't look natural at some spots. Otherwise great job.
